A format hub only holds one animal and one format, because moisture makes a wet and a dry food unreadable side by side without normalisation. 11 hubs currently hold at least five source-backed records.
Read the printed percentages first
Recorded label values describe the food as supplied. They remain useful evidence, but water content can make unlike formats look deceptively different.
Remove the moisture difference
When moisture is present on both labels, the calculator can put nutrients on a dry-matter basis without inventing missing values.
Compare facts, not suitability
A mathematical comparison does not establish digestibility, adequacy or the right food for a particular animal. Use it to frame a better question.
